I have used various soundspectrum products for many years.. running older platinum versions on a somewhat older Mac.. or on windows machines.
I just upgraded to the latest platinum of whitecap, but cant find the files.. and Save as gives me errors..
there is no ~/Library on mine.. and the /Library/preferences has no soundspectrum folder. im on 6.9.4 platinum running sonoma OSX 14.5 on an intel Core i9 15" macbook pro..
the program works beautifully, i simply want to be able to edit the configs and add / delete backgrounds individually..
while i used to use the programs for my big outside home christmas displays I sold my house and moved to a large Flat where i want to use them for Nighttime immersive meditations with projectors on the walls / ceilings.. so its important I can get rid of those pesky really bright yellow / white backgrounds but keep the patterns or even add my own.. I just need to find the files for configuration so i can turn them off indivdually and where the background images are stored to add my own.
thanks for the awesome programs.. they have brought many smiles for years to my christmas time home lights..

Hello cadikid1
You need to find the folder named packages.

Re: OSX sonoma where are configs?
I did find the preferences file .. the Library folder is hidden so it is was throwing me off.. however i dont have a folder packages..
i found the whitecap package itself.. but it just has application parts..
created cusatom themes and de-selected broght backgrounds.. (red minus) yet im still getting a lot of white or nearly white backgrounds in the rotation.. not sure whats doing it ..
whitecap is a little different than G force which I played with more.. it doesnt have the detachable control panel to see individual items as they are displayed..

Hello cadikid1
Being honest with you I don't know a lot about WhiteCap, I'm more G-Force than the other visuals. You could try uninstalling the program then do a search for all SoundSpectrum folders, delete anything related to WhiteCap then download a fresh copy. You can of course open a support ticket with SoundSpectrum by following the link below:-

Re: OSX sonoma where are configs?
good idea on opening a ticket thats what I may do just for clarification..
ill try a complete redo first in case i messed something up.
I have used G force standalone more than the others.. I have licensaes for all 3 as I like to support soundspectrum.. whitecap has patterns i like more for what im currently doing..
although im guessing the engine for it is similar so i could probably achieve some of the same effects in G force..
