Since I started using the Tool bar beta (for OSX) I was able to briefly get total full screen viewing in iTunes by changing the Full Screen Value to that of my monitor.
Then mysteriously G-Force stopped launcing properly—it just wouldn't show up at all in iTunes, just a black screen. So I tried the Tool Bar with Standalone and got it to work in edge to edge Full Screen mode (after double clicking in the window).
I trashed the iTunes G-Force pref in hope of getting it running again. No Luck. When I launched it, G-Force created a new prefs file with the same faults built in. So being a daredevil, I copied the prefs for Standalone and pasted them into the iTunes prefs file and saved it. Then launched iTunes and G-Force. Now it runs smoothly again, and in total edge to edge full screen mode. Type on screen gets tiny in verbose mode, but I don't mind.
Frankly I have no idea what peramiter of the prefs is causing the full screenness. But if you want to try it, here is a copy of my prefs file. (not the astericks, just what's between them)
