I just recently installed a firewire audio interface. in standalone i pressed Shift A to cycle through to find its output, but have nothing displaying other than the original sound driver (soundmax audio)

i reinstalled g force again and still have the same problem

Nice little unit there!!!!

To get straight to point, you might have to use one of those six line outputs to run into the line input of the computer. They do have the firewire audio interface which apparently can get sound to their software.
But in this case I don't think that digital information is available to G-Force. As a plug-in G-Force gets data directly from the player, WinAmp, iTunes etc. But if you have a player that they don't support yet the standalone won't work with it either. Likewise G-Force can't tap into the internals of the software for the Firebox. Just have to get analog sound into the line input where the standalone can pick it up.

Do you have any audio drivers that are part of a USB device? I had the same problem until I unplugged a USB Voip phone and then all was well. And my standalone version gets the sound from my DV Sony Camera. Just start disabling/unloading other sound drivers that show up, one at a time, until the one you want appears. You must restart G-Force every time.
