How can I turn off the new version notification when GForce starts?

Hello Daddo

Not too sure what your meaning. Do you mean the G-Force slash screen or are you referring to an update message?

If it's the splash screen that says G-Force Platinum that appears when G-Force starts then it's built into the program engine, and cannot be disabled.

If it's a message saying there is a new version available, then you would need to uninstall G-Force, and search for any SoundSpectrum related folders, delete them then carry out a new install. During the new install you should make sure you uncheck ALLOW ANONYMOUS USAGE.

Heya!
Not the splash screen... starting a day or two ago, for about a minute after the splash screen, there is a graphic that displays there is an update and has the URL. I don't want the update....and I hate the graphic.

Go into the UI and look for Check for updates and set it to never

That's certainly the easiest way if the version Daddo is using has the UI.

if he still uses an older version of G-force with the toolbar, he can look under toolbar preferences and uncheck the check for updates weekly tab.
