Getting Standalone To Work With MacMini

Post by Daddo1 »

ITunes 11, amongst other things, breaks a seamless visualizer experience - I use Daypart and when playlists change automatically, the window moves back from the visualizer window to the main iTunes window.

So I'd like to use Gforce standalone instead. However, my sound output on my mini is set for the headphone jack - which has speakers attached to it of course. When I go to select the source for standalone, that option is not available, switching the machine's output to one of the other choices (soundflower, built in output etc.) loses the output to the speakers through the headphone jack.

ideas?
what am I doing wrong here?

thanks,
Andrew

How about rigging it by using an audio splitter so that sound still goes to your speakers but then also to, say, a smaller speaker that is strategically positioned near the Mini itself?
