Problem loading all g-force components.
Ok, I have had g-force for a while, and I have the platinum version. But I just re-formatted my computer about a week ago, and I re-downloaded the software for g-force. But after it finishes setup, it doesnt work, the screensaver doesnt work, and when I try and play a song on windows media it locks up. Can anybody help me with this?
EDIT: I tried the stand alone and toolbar and they do work, but the rest is still unoperational.

I re installed windows, and then I re-installed G-force. I downloaded the screensaver seperatly, yes. And it dose show up on the list of screen savers, and I use Windows media, and I always have been, so Yes.chkman wrote:Quick format or long format?
You re-installed Windows and G-Force?
Did you download the screen saver, it's a separate download?
Does G-Force show up in the list of Windows screensavers?
Does media player play AVIs or MPGs?

Well, what happens with the screen saver if you click on the 'preview' button? Does it try to run?
On Media Player, can you switch the G-Force off and try to play music?
And what exactly do you mean by 'doesn't work'? Does anything appear when you try to play music? Did you download their latest version?
You didn't answer my question about the format. If you do a 'quick' format it does not test the drive. If you have a bad sector strange things will happen when you try to get data from the bad spot. This could explain media player not working. If its a fresh install of Windows and G-Force, you shouldn't be having a software problem.
How 'bout good ol' WinAmp? Can you give it a try?

When I hit preview for the screensaver, it turns on, but there is no G-force visuals..its just a black screen.chkman wrote:Well, what happens with the screen saver if you click on the 'preview' button? Does it try to run?

As for my media player, I cant even load it..it locks up when I try. (no visuals..nothing) so I dont even have an opportunity to switch it.
and the format was a complete one...it deleted everything on my comp and re-installed windows.
and I hate winamp..I will never leave windows media.

Well, I figured out what was going on, normally I block windows media player from accessing the net with my firewall...so this time I noticed when I open it up its tring to access the net..so I let is pass and it took me to the upgrade to gold screen, which doesnt make sense since I have platinum, anyway once I did that it worked...and my screensaver works too..I dont know why going to that part of the site had anything to do with G-force and it not working, but its working now.
