G-Force tool bar problem

Just installed new G-Force 4.2.0, after completely removing the beta version 4.2b2.
When G-Force Tool bar starts, under "Visualization Preferences" the "Full screen mode" selection bar is blank, there's no way to select full screen resolution...Any thought on this?

Hi ...This seems to happen in standalone and in WinAmp...But not in WMP.....Also toolbar is not remembering to start when G-Force starts, that's in all apps and standalone, have to open toolbar manually and check "Start toolbar when GF starts" and then GF forgets when restart GF

Below are the details of the changes made to the latest version of G-Force. Although I don't think it's really going to help you.

4.2.0 - 11 April 2011

•Several new ColorMaps from BT, and new WaveShapes from JRM and Andy!
•Reduced CPU load by 15-20% if the frame dimensions are both less than 2048 pixels.
•Fixed string concat bug that was causing stability issues in some environments.
•Fixed G-Force Toolbar issue that was causing an error saying that the engine version didn't match the toolbar version.
•Fixed bug where the engine would check for updates on every launch instead of honoring the period specified in the prefs and would sometimes falsely report an update was available.
•Added GIF file format support.

Done a reinstall of GF.....Issue with toolbar remembering settings is now cured But still have the issue with "Full screen mode" selection bar being blank....Which now ONLY happens in "GF Standalone" Working OK in all other apps.....
I shall wait a day or two, before contacting support, just in case someone here can shed some light on this....But looks like a support ticket will do the trick

PS: Must just say GF v4.2.0 is very beautiful ....Well done all that worked on it

swiftyone, I am able to duplicate the error you describe. I'll open a bug report with our developers.

On a side note, in the Standalone application you can press the "M" key to cycle through different full-screen resolutions. You will need to exit and reenter full-screen mode for the change to take effect.

Yeah kinda forgot about pressing the "M" key...Not done that for a very long time, since the toolbar was always able to do it ..So yes I can still set full screen res now you've reminded me

Hey guys, I've been trying to reproduce this but can't. You mean the entire popup menu is empty has no items right?

Is there anything with your particular display setup?

on mine it just has the 1024x764 nothing else comes up. Rest of menu is gone, just the setting windows is set at.

In GF Standalone on toolbar the "Full Screen Mode" selector bar is empty has no items, only see a white background.
I have never changed my display settings from GF v4.0 (all through beta testing, till v4.2) Have only encountered this problem in GF v4.2.
Running Win XP Pro SP3....nVidia 9800GTX+ (driver version 270.61) 22" monitor 1680x1050..

@MEM: If your native res is 1024x764, that is all that will show....Think I'm right, as with previous versions of GF only my native res would show 1680x1050...I'm sure that's how it works
