G-Force and Phenom II Hexcore

Post by Stocklone »

Just outstanding! I own the 1090T. Fluid 60fps @ 1080p no matter what was on the screen since multi-core compatibility was added. Just wow! :D

Hello Stocklone

This site is for G-Force visualisations, not the graphics card company which I believe your post was intended for. Click on the link below which will take you to Nvidia's web site.

Nope. I very much know the difference between GeForce and G-Force. I've been paying SoundSpectrum every year for G-Force and Whitecap for the past 4 years or so.

The 1090T is an AMD CPU which features 6 cores. Version 4.0+ of G-Force features multi-core support. Those of us with multi-core setups are getting much better frame rates than we ever dreamed of. This is because all of the cores are being utilized for calculations rather than just one of them. This is seriously one of my highlights of 2010.

Getting 60FPS @ 1080p used to be impossible with a multi-core AMD chip.

Hello Stocklone

My apologies for misunderstanding your original post but, it's good to know of another GF user.

I am not familiar with AMD chips but, six cores seems incredible. I have a humble Pentium Dual Core with a beefy graphics card and, can achieve 55 to 60 fps, but not at 1080p.

Seasons greetings.
