What is the difference between LCD TV and LCD monitor? I want to purchase a LCD TV/LCD Monitor for my PC. Which should I purchase - LCD TV or LCD monitor. Is LCD TV harmful for eyes as compared to LCD Monitor? Which is the best one LCD TV or LCD Monitor?

Juxtiphi, you were supposed to delete the thread, not my link!

So I guess we're stuck waiting for answers. So here's the answer to the first question,
"What is the difference between LCD TV and LCD monitor?".

An LCD TV has a TV tuner built in, whilst an LCD monitor does not.

I'll leave it to others to field the rest. Not that I don't have the answers, but because I don't want to squelch others opportunity of participating.

Ready...set...Go!

To be fair, I believe the original poster wanted to compare monitor types coz he wanted to find out which one would take longer to inflict eye damage from all the catatonic gawking he had a feeling he was gonna do if he decided to buy GF.

PS: Diagram the previous sentence for a chance to win a quarter century's worth of free SS program license updates. ;)
