GF to Linksys Media Extender

I believe this has been posted before but cannot find any answers.
Can I transmit wirelessly GF visualisations from my Sony PC, through Windows Media Player to my Linksys Media Extender? When I operate the Extender through the TV, all aspects are shown in W/Media Player (on the TV) except visualisations. Would I solve my peoblem with having the Platinum version?

did you get this solved? I had a similar issue with my old VAIO (ATI Mobility Radeon Chip Set) when trying to play a DVD on both the laptop panel and TV at the same time... the two outputs would be a clone, with the exception of the DVD content ... where there was just a black box where you would expect to see the DVD content. It turns out that the DVD content would only show up on the PRIMARY output device ( to set: display properties->settings->advanced->Displays [the button with the target(?)-like ICON] ). The problem occurred with more than just DVDs, however I don't SPECIFICALLY remember having an issue with WMP or Winamp ... and I can't easily test that without messing with wiring

Regret I have not solved the problem. I think I might be stuck with not having the ability to transmit the visualisations. Unless, of course, anyone knows better.

try the DVD experiment for me ... It is hard for me to believe that it isn't your laptop (settings).
