Screen shots

Post by RGM1138 »

Now that I'm able to do screen captures, how can I get them into a certain folder?

Right now, they all end up on the desktop.

yep thats the default location and I have no idea how to make them go to a folder of choice as I have not seen a option for selecting another foldler.

Just playing around, I made a G-Force Pics folder then opened it on the right side of the desktop. Then I dragged the individual pics from the desktop into the folder.

It's not elegant, but it works. :)

Been doing this for awhile and making Grateful Dead album covers for live shows.

I do what above said, re: storage folder
In the last week or so (since upgrade?), I've been getting a large percentage of image 'hicups', where the entire shot is limited to the bottom left corner, with 'soundscape' logo stretched out and image dispersed - anyone else getting this? ~daliguanaImage

first of all you should reduce the size of the screen shots so they can be viewed in there entirety.

next, since this behavior just started I would suggest that maybe you need to update your video drivers or just make sure they are working properly. If you feel thats not the reason for said anomaly try uninstalling GF delete both sound spectrum folders located in c program files and c docs and settings application data folder make sure you delete both folders restart your comp then make sure you have the latest version of GF and reinstall. sometimes reinstalling GF will fix weird issues.

well make sure your video drivers are up to date if so open G-Force and hit shift D sometimes performance can increase by disabling Direct3D mode via (SHIFT-D).

I have just joined the forum and this was going to be one of my questions. Seems odd that there is no way to select the folder where the snaps will be stored. To date I have been going to Windows Explorer, selecting Desktop, highlighting all of the "new" screen shots, and then dragging them into a folder labeled g-force pics. The issue is not a big one but it is a bit of a nuisance to have to do this.
