I am using V 3.9 Platinum on a Mac.
I understand that I should be able to capture a sequence in G-Force and export the contents in Quicktime -- but i have not found any documentation so far as to how best to do that. Is it reasonable to expect that such a Quicktime file could then be imported and edited in iMovie or Final Cut Pro?
Any assistance is appreciated.
I would also like to know if there is anyone interested in working on a short script or two -- as (at age 70) I sometimes have to struggle with understanding new technology. Remuneration could be negotiated.
And, finally: is version 3.9 changed to such a degree that
earlier documentation may be misleading in instructions?

i do not find a way to specify "background" or "foreground" for jpgs...
they appear to be background by default and barely visible much of the time.
so that is another issue i seek assistance with....
also, although i can sometimes call up a jpg (pressing shift Y) i cannot do so invariably. I want the jpgs to appear in a smooth continuous slideshow and to be clearly visible... is that possible?

by defualt GF blends the background images into the vis and I agree they could be a bit clearer but there is a way to make the pics show in the foreground.
if you look in the sprites folder you will see that some of the pics have this ( ~ ) symbol in the name. if you wish to have your pics in the foreground try naming them with the ~ the same way and see if they show in the front
but beware large pics may blank out the vis while they are in front of it as I do not know if GF will blend them the same way it does for the background.

thanks for that tip.
The result was that my photos were now considerably clearer... but still tending to get buried and obliterated under busy patterns.
I will have to experiment further -- to find a way of reducing the visual "competition"...
it would be so useful if others could provide links to patterns they have made using photos... but perhaps that is not possible.

I dont think there are to many people who are realy customizing GF, I think most people just run it out of the box.
there a few who make extra configs for GF
here is the link to the page.

beware not all the confiogs work with the latest GF.
why because they were created for a much older GF and the program has changed since their inception.
