Praise for the latest beta (so far) 3.8b3

Post by markofkane »

Except for the error 18 errors, the beta SEEMS better than previous official releases. The latest beta seems to not have any problems "yet", but I will keep testing and will report any problems.

The only problem I had with the b3 beta, once, it was pixelated, large, and flickered really bad. Closing Windows Media player and opening again fixed the problem. :D

It seems that the viz is more vibrant and colorful and exciting. That's what I have been hoping for, more excitement in the viz. The more the better!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

The only thing I can think to ask for, is an option to disable error messages when it has a problem with a flowfield, colormap, or waveshape. I don't want to see errors all over the viz when I am watching iti for enjoyment. :P

No, I don't use winamp a whole lot, I use WMP 11 most of the time, and itunes some of the time. What are cpro skins?

in the beta issues thread you mentioned that you were not experiencing any issues with winamp like I was.

it seems that the album art plugin causes the standalone to crash when exiting fullscreen and there is an issue with the plugin locking the playlist when its in fullscreen.

I have also observed the playlist locking this when using milkdrop (which stinks) Andy tried to comeup with a workaround yesterday but was unable to do it.

winamp is starting to get sucky

winamp is starting to get sucky. I dont know what difference s between cpro skins and regular skins are but you need a plugin from the skin consortium to use them. which seems a little fishy to me
