G-Force on HDTV

Post by juxtiphi »

anybody else got GF running on an HDTV? GF looks so much better then when I run my video out in s video mode!

so much more depth between the levels of graphics and a more fluid motion the colores have a richness than makes s video look sick, and I thought it looked great before!

cant wait for the next update! :D

I've seen HDTV. To me, I cannot tell a difference unless it's really a big screen. So, I cannot see the advantages of HDTV on a small screen.

I don't have it yet, but I go to a local food mart. They have 2 HD screens.

The one on a closed circuit (for security) has a much sharper image (like a mirror) than the other screen showing CNN. It COULD be that CNN is not being received in HD.

If I thought HDTV looked that much better than my 20 inch analog TV on Directv, I'd buy it. 8)

I run it on a Hitachi 50" plasma at full resolution.

I love the way it looks on the tv...but hate the fact that I run the Hitachi as a second monitor (HDMI) and G-force minimizes from full screen any time I click anything on my main screen.

I can only run G-Force when I don't plan on doing any multitasking at all. I seriously hope they fix this bug soon.

I was disappointed that it wasn't fixed in the latest release.

I'm buying an lcd projector towards the end of the month. We are moving and having a huge party on the 29th of April once we've moved out.

I plan on keeping just my computer, monitor, and the lcd projector for the party. We are going to leave the sofas since we are donating them to Goodwill (as we have new furniture for our new house). They can kill the carpet if they like. Heh.

I don't know the quality that I'll get...as I don't plan on spending any more than about $800-$900 for an "el cheapo" projector.

Anyway, I'll post some pics.

I dont have a mac but,

It may be the way you have your desktop set up, my video card has several options for dual monitor.

clone mode, one big extended desktop, and dual view which is essentially 2 desktops.

on my computer if you run the desktop in clone mode it will show the same thing on both screens but if you run it as one big extended desktop the secondary screen will black out and GF will only go fullscreen on the primary. in dual view this does not happen.

not sure what options you have but the answer may be in the way you have the desktop set up.

And if G-Force were available for PS3, I'd be watching it on my Sony Bravia 1080i 26" HDTV, that would be awesome !!

Looks great on my 60" LG Plasma at 1920x1080 resolution but I find the movement more fluid at 960x600 resolution because the Nvidia 8500 Graphics card on my MPC doesn't have the horsepower needed.

My 5 year old constantly demands that I turn it on. Also great for vegging out on the couch with a glass of wine.

I had that problem running on my Nvidia card on my laptop. I don have that problem at all running on my ATI card on my desktop. I'm not sure if the laptop has an old version or not but the desktop has the latest version.

So after upgrading to the latest version, if it still doesn't work then it may be your video card brand or the driver version for your video card.

I have both the laptop and desktop set up for dual screen use.
