G-Force 3 Update, and forward into the future...
Greetings, G-Force users!
I wanted to finally take some time out to directly talk to some of the more dedicated G-Force and WhiteCap users--everyone here on the forum--now that our big G-Force 3 launch is complete.
First off, thank you all for your patience. I've been pretty scarce these last few months. Since last fall, I finished my time in the US Navy as a submarine lieutenant in Bremerton WA, moved cross country to Boston MA, not had a permanent residence for 2 months, worked closely with Anton, Gary, and Key to help bring you the G-Force toolbar for Windows, and tried to perform the normal G-Force update cycle during that (thanks again goes out to all the G-Force config contributors out there). It's a bummer Mac OS users won't have access to the toolbar, but trust me that all the other stuff in GF3 is not to be underestimated. The anti-aliased line drawing and sprite auto-scaling add a lot to the visual quality of things, and the FlowField edits make for a *much* richer experience--it's difficult to express, but you'll definitely see what I mean when you check it out for a bit.
Given the complexity of the transitional steps we had to pull off in these last weeks to upgrade our website and get G-Force 3 to release status, we did our best. Unfortunately, we had some hiccups in Mac OS 10.3 and 10.2 installer and the website transition (we're now on a more formidable webhost), but after us working around the clock since Tuesday, we finally have most of these kinks worked out.
Onward, we'll see a small point release of WhiteCap, followed by a larger release of WhiteCap not too much later, adding anti-aliased line drawing, some swanky new configs by moi, and a WhiteCap screensaver. Beyond that, we'll be working on the Mac OS X version of the toolbar, a hyper upgrade to WhiteCap by our new math engine "VectorC", and the "real" next generation vis codenamed "Gallium" (formerly "Project X") later down the road.
Thanks again to everyone in this forum who has taken the time to help and greet new SoundSpectrum users that are checking out the user-landscape.
I'm looking forward to try to continue to help this wonderful userbase so that we can together chart and explore the world of high-quality and innovative music visualization!
Looking Forward,
Andy O'Meara

Captivating
The new version of G-Force is superb! I can spend hours of it, entranced by the seamless flows of colors and shapes. I have posted a blog entry about it on my website http://www.webevolver.com/mylife/journal/. Great job, it's passionate individuals like yourself that exceed standards and push to new ground and create ground-breaking products that surpass expectations purely out of love for what you do. I try to live up to that level myself, and it's always nice to see others contributing their passion in other areas. Dream on!

I would like to link to a topic I posted about depth being added to G-Force:

Maybe this idea is too insane for G-FORCE. Use it for Gallium. That would really be a next generation visualization! 3-Dimensions!

I would LOVE to be able to output a Session to a DVD. That is to be able to copy the show and Music to be sent to anyone I wish. What do you all think of that?
