A while ago someone (probably Andy of course) mentioned "Project X", potentially a successor to G-Force or Whitecap, with some insanely great idea behind it. Is that right?
Come on, do tell. Tease us.
What is "Project X"?

Project X is a great little game written by a company called Team 17.
Its a vertical scrolling shooter
hehe I know what you meant but maybe its just the development name for Geforce 3 ?
who knows, maybe one day it will appear, or we may never hear of it again if people dont upgrade to GOLD

I'll come to bed once i've seen everything in G-Force.
I believe that Andy was/is (not sure which) intending Project X to use hardware to render visualizations. Currently G-Force is rendered using software at the cost of CPU utilization. Open up the Performance tab on Windows Task Manager (WinXP) then go to fullscreen mode in G-Force (let it run for a min or two) then close it and look at the performance history to see what I mean.
I'd love to see hardware rendering for G-Force! Hopefully Project X won't be too long in coming out.
