I am confused about my version of G Force Platinum which I am trying to get running with the SSD. When I open G Force Platinum, which I purchased 2 days ago, it says version 3.5.7. BUT when I go to about in Apple menu when G Force is fully opened it says Version 1.2.7?
SSD will not work because it says I do not have the most up to date version
of G Force.. 3.5 or above but I have?
You have the correct version of G-Force (the latest), it's the SSD that isn't working. Andy and the gang promised to have it updated to work with the latest G-Force last month, but it still hasn't seen the light of day.

Yes, I've just found that out.
The team got back to me to say they are still working on a version of SSD to go with G Force Platinum but have promised to send me a link to download the older version so that it works with SSD.
