.MOV videos don't seem to work...
I've been trying many different types of .MOV video files in order to use video in G-Force Platinum (I have Adobe Premiere Pro), but some shut down G-Force and others just do nothing. What exactly do I have to do (size limit/frame limit/etc.). Thanks.

The movies were one of the coolest features but after updateing so many times an not having major time to add movies too and watch GF that I didnt realise they were not working any more. like you I hope a fix is in the works.
this subject has been mentioned in the bug reports section but as far as I know it hasnt been addressed yet.
more than likely it will be worked out in future versions of GF.
I would'nt look at it like "someone stuffed up" rather it seems to me that with all the changes media players have been going thru it must be tough to keep every aspect of GF updated. I'm not a programmer but it must be a lot of work makeing sure Gf will work on multi systems which include obsolete video cards rather than just focusing on one which would keep GF inaccessable to many.Nicko wrote:That kinda sucks, seeing as I had to buy it. Instead of having to pay more money because someone stuffed up, do you think it's possible to release a patch?
I think 'even though I paid for it 3 times now' that GF is just a stepping stone for a much bigger endevour concerning visuals. I have been using GF since it first appeared and I am very interested in its future directions.
True. I just needed it for this weekend. Video that is, I'll have to find a way around it, that's ok, I think I may be able to borrow a vision switcher from Channel 9 (I know a guy that works there) and use that.
Also I used both the stand alone version and the one intergrated into WMP11 (beta2)

I do believe... Cheese!

G-Force 3.5.7 should fix this problem -- sorry for any inconvenience...Nicko wrote:I've been trying many different types of .MOV video files in order to use video in G-Force Platinum (I have Adobe Premiere Pro), but some shut down G-Force and others just do nothing. Using an older version of GF, this wonderful little freebie program called SUPER(c) worked for me. It converts (while it simultaneously crops, resizes and trims) video from almost any format I've encountered into pretty much any format I need - particularly, those QT-friendly [mp4] files that GF seems to need in order to function. Find it (and other tools you'll hopefully find useful) here: http://derekbblog.blogspot.com/2007/12/ ... candy.htmlG-Force 3.5.7 should fix this problem
After lurking here for a bit, I guess I'm ready to purchase another version G-Force (number 3, as memory serves). Unlike myself, it seems to get better with age.
