For the power user with a large library there is only one choice, JRMC, which is a shame because the company attitude and the way it handles it's forum sucks big time. However, I stick with it and (I've tried all it's main rivals) because of the library management capabilities, very good sound reproduciton, good tagging facilities and most of all because of it's ability to interface to NetRemote. And if you don't know what NetRemote is check my website at www.rigbys.biz or visit www.promixis.com
I use MusicMatch almost exclusively, though I have most of the others installed, mainly because it is big enough for these 60 year old eyes to see all of the buttons and menus without straining too much. Winamp is good, but a little too small, and I can't even begin to see anything on either version of Sonique. I kinda like WMP, but... it's MS, if you know that I mean!

Foobar2000, because it's got the best collection of in-built DSP plugins known to man. Unfortunately, I can't get G-Force to run on it >_<. I'd love to see hooks for G-Force to run in this wonderful player, or failing that, a truly "stand-alone" version of G-Force that can sample the WaveOut or DirectSound buffers of my sound device. Any possibility of seeing this in the near future?
I'm actually highly prone to addiction. So highly prone, in fact, that all of my addictions have canceled out.
I would have to say that I love the simplicity of iTunes but unfortunately i'm finding myself using Windows Media Player 10 these days. This is for two small reasons (and lets face it, when we're dealing with personal preferences it comes down to the little things):

- Firstly, I have a USB keyboard for when I work on my laptop at home and this has a row of handy buttons like track skip, play / pause, etc and these don't work with iTunes
- Secondly, i prefer the toolbar wmp minimises to over that that itunes minimises to.

I like XMPlay because it is just so acurate at playing mp3s and stuff.
Has loads of great replayers and plays files packed with just about every format. rar, lha, zip ace etc etc.
hey and it plays g-force to
Itunes has a place in me heart from me old mac days.

I'll come to bed once i've seen everything in G-Force.

I vote WinAmp. Honestly, it's primarily because it's what I'm used to. It was the very first MP3 player I ever saw and used, and various flirtations with other players have simply increased my resolve to never ever lose my archive of WinAmp 2 installers. Easy to skin, easy to tweak, easy to run. Looks good, has a very functional and aesthetically pleasing layout -- I've simply never seen anything better.
