I own a projector and find Gforce fantastic, only one problem somtime Gforce is to bright, is there any way to make Gforce use certain colour maps so the background is always a dark colour, i could turn down the brightness of the projector but that would lose a lot of detail and make the colours dull.
Im ok with tinkering with the scripts so if there is a setting please help.
My only suggestion short of chucking some of the colormaps you find too bright for your purposes would be to dummy up a script that would show only the colormaps you want displayed, i.e. the darker ones.
The application only knows about colormaps in the folder with that name. You dont have to toss the ones that are too bright. Just move them into a folder with another name. It only takes a few minutes to go through all the files. You can move them on the fly, since they are all loaded at startup. A more efficient way would be to have two destination folders, triage the files into light and dark, and hit the U key a few times during the triage to keep it from repeating too many.
Did you manage to sort out the problem with G Force Platinum working with SSD?
It keeps saying I do not have the latest version of GFP to work with the SSD but I bought it 2 days ago? When I open G Force Platinum it says I have version 3.5.7 but when I look in info on the apple menu in says I have version 1.2.7???
Any advice? I have emailed support but it's the wrong time of year to get a reply!
