I LOVE IT!!

Post by Aussie_M2010 »

Just wanted to say that after using the trial for three months I finally paid for it.

Love it. Now have it full screen without the letterbox effect, which is even better.

No questions yet, but I'm bound to come up with some!

LOL. I've come to think that freeware/trial version has better selection of presets then gold/platinum/whatever

To be honest, I paid so I could get rid of the letterbox effect - then after I had, I realised I could have changed that anyway behind the scenes.

But I like being able to fiddle around with the controls anyway - don't think I'll ever get into the mathematics of it though.

I would like a better explanation of what the two sliders on the rhs of the toolbar actually DO though, and I couldn't find that on the help or the site for love nor money. Visual responsiveness of the WaveShapes? What does that mean exactly? And if I increase the framerate? I assume I'll get smoother graphics?

Mind you, I wouldn't want to run this as I have it now on a smaller machine - lol - took my CPU usage up to around 52% on Core 2 Duo all by itself.

Thanks for your support!

Which sliders were you curious about? The sliders next to WaveShapes, ColorMaps, and FlowFields are how often they switch to a new one (more to the right means they switch more often) -- this is n/a if you have the auto-shuffle off. Are those the sliders you mean?

no, Andy, not the speed ones - the two sliders to the far right of the Tool Bar (top) - one with the little running man - framerate, and the other has a sqiggle, like the tilde key - the explanantion if ness - I believe to the beat of the music.

Hope that helps!

The first is the G-Force frame rate. If you put the slider in the middle then you'll get about (34 fps)--this is the recommended value. you can set it lower or higher depending in your tastes. The other slider is visual response scale. If it's in the middle (recommened), you'll see WaveShapes respond normally to incoming sound. If you turn them up, they'll react more to sound and and vice versa.
