How to avoid the black screen when working on dual screen?

Post by melomac »

Hi, I'm new to G-Force knowledge, a happy registered Platinum user.

I did not found the way to avoid the dim of other screens while G-Force Standalone is running in full screen mode.

The purpose would be to have G-Force standalone fullscreen on the 2nd screen while I control it from the G-Force toolbar on the 1st screen.

Please help, I'm quite in a hurry for now.

This currently isn't possible for now, but it's on our list for a future release (and is in our bug/enhancement tracking system).

Thanks,
Andy

workaround

Post by melomac »

Here is a kind of workaround:

You launch G-Force standalone
You choose a higher resolution than the resolution of the 2nd screen
You drag the window on the 2nd screen so its border are on the 1st one

A also nice feature could be a mapable keyboard just like Archaos!

You can change the key mapping -- see the 'customizing' section in the docs.

Dual Monitors

Post by prajna »

Oh my, dual monitor use without having to use hotkeys is so *necessary* in todays production environments. The hotkeys are pretty user hostile. I'm surprised G-Force doesn't allow this, while all my other video processing/vj software can.

Unfortunately, figured it out only after shelling out the $ for the platinum?

Please help with this updated feature!

I don't get it, I can use the toolbar to control it without using hotkeys.
