Not really had much time to look at the last couple of versions of GF but my congrats to Roger Bigod for his excellent now Spheres Flowfields.

Stunning peice of maths there. Still haven't got my head around them completely.

Yeah, those sphere configs are really great! They're defintely easily in my top ten FlowFields, that's for sure. It's especially cool the remix he did of your 'evergrowing wall'.

The remixes are cool and I will try and get some other ones not all flowfields work totally when converted to this sphere code. I am still trying to work out how to create other shapes.

See I told you cool things could be made if atan2 was created. ;)

In what folder do these files go? I downloaded a zip named mix

all the files are text files so I dont know which folder they belong in.

may sound stupid but unless its labled as a flow field or sprite I have no idea what folder they go in.

They're flowfields, they go in the flowfield folder.

Get all the extras at

Hey, I'm pleased that you guys liked the sphere stuff.

Rovastar has the right idea, from the examples he put up. For the formulas, you can google "vertical projection" and "mathematica". Or try http://mathworld.wolfram.com/VerticalPe ... ction.html. There's a place in the code where you can plug in the calcs for an existing flowfield for a remix. "Evergrowing Wall" was way the best one I looked at.

The cylinder is trivial if you have the sphere formula. I play with it but haven't found anything that exciting.

You have a current email address? I tried to send some formulas and stuff to the one you posted, and my mailing bounced.
