G-Force & MacBook Pro

Post by SimplyMe »

After a few years of supporting G-Force, and being extremely happy with it, I can not get it to work on my new MacBook Pro. I've read the posts and discover that a 'univeral' version is in the making. If at all possible, could I get a beta version to test too?
The last version I got before I let my subscription lapse was 2.8.1. Never had any problems with it, and for what I use it for it was more than adequate.

Thanks

The universal binary has been out for some time now and runs great on the new Intel Macs (G-Force now supports hardware-accelerated graphics and offers much better performance). Plus, the Mac version now has the toolbar and the V-Bar. You'll have to renew your license though--e-mail sales and they'll help you with that.

Yeah, we went universal at G-Force 3.5, so if you have an earlier version, it won't work on an intel mac.

After reading through all I could read on the site, I nearly had to upgrade the strength of my glasses. But I guess I missed reading that in the version history. Would have been nice if it was written in BIG BOLD letters somwhere... then I wouldn't have made an idiot of myself.
Thanks, guess I'll just have to subscribe again :)
