iTunes with G-Force on 2 monitors

Post by Roberth »

I wounder if there is any way to get the G-Force window out on a second monitor, like a TV, and still have the ability to work in iTunes, with changing songs and rearanging them without having to close G-Force down. So that G-Force will always run on the second monitor and nobody will notice that I change the order of the songs in iTunes. I want G-Force in a different window than iTunes. And if I use the standslone version it doesn't move with the iTunes music. Is it possible? I have G-Force Platinum.

Thanks for answer.

that's exactly what I do, thanks to the standalone
one tv screen dedicated to g-Force, the computer screen to work with whatever application I want to work on
and never use plugin
there are some downsides: no song title or album art displayed
what version of GF do you have?

Ok, I have GF Platinum. But I can't make the standalone version to move to the music in iTunes.

With the standalone you have to select an Audio source where you can get the sound from.
In the toolbar scroll the "visualization preferences" section of the preferences
Then on "Audio source" select different audio sources until you find one that works.

Yea I've tried that, but it doesn't work. I can start and paus the music in iTunes but it doesn't show any different in GF. I can connect line out to mic in then GF works, but I want to hear somthing to.

Names of enties depend on your soundcard driver so I can't really tell you which one will work
I'm using "Nameofmysoundcard - Stereo Mix" and that works

I dumped iTunes in favor of J River Media Center precisely so I could route G-Force to a second monitor (projector in my case).

It works great and G-Force displays the album art/song info without a hitch.

Plus Media Center lets you easily browse you music collection via album art. Very cool
