G-Force as a desktop "background"

Post by stuartturrell »

Hi there,

New to g-force, so far, i find the product OUTSTANDING!

Anyway, is there any future thought about adding the visulizations to the desktop background, so you can still work as see the workings going on in the background??

Winamp has a vis that does this now, Milkdrop i think its called, it would be awesome if g-froce could do this as a mode.

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for the compliment. G-Force currently does not operate as an "active desktop" but we agree that it would be a great feature to add one of these days. In the interim, we have created a V-Bar feature that allows you to run G-Force in the background while working in other programs. On the Windows platform, you can start the V-Bar by selecting Start | All Programs | G-Force | G-Force V-Bar. On the Mac platform, the new V-Bar is in alpha / beta testing and you can email Andy if you are interested in testing.
