I just bought G-Force Platinum but I don't know how to get to the features i.e. the V bar or how to bring up the visuals while I'm doing other things like working in MS Word. That is one of the main reasons I bought it so I could see the visuals while doing other stuff.
Really all I seem to be able to do is watch the visuals while playing a CD, but not if I'm working in Word or online, etc.
I feel so stupid. Please help! Thank You!
I just bought G-Force Platinum - Need help!

I don't know if I'm answering your question the way you want; but here goes:
You can make G-Force react to sound without necessarily playing your CD. For instance, you can set your sound preferences to gather input through the built-in miicrophone---that is, if your machine has this feature. BTW, I'm assuming you have a PC since you mentioned the VBar.
My iMac does have a built-in mike and I set my sound prefs to the above option if I want it to pick up ambient noise, i.e. the surrounding sound source(s).
I hope that helps.

Sorry it doesn't really help but thanks for trying.
Basically - I don't know how to use or get to any of the features. I don't know how to access the V-bar. I don't even see it listed anywhere. I don't know how to use any of the features mentioned in the advertisement. They mention all the "bells and whistles" and they sold me but now I don't know how to get to the "bells and whistles", etc.
I notices that I can do a screen shot by hitting the Print Scrn/SysRq button on my computer but I can't do it by hitting ` - Interesting. That's really not a big deal though.
As for using it as a screen saver. Just start the program i.e. Windows Media Player and don't put in a CD or play a CD and then when it's finished let it just stary in there or take it out - either way. Again- no big deal.
But mostly want to know how to have the visuals playing or showing up while in word, etc.
Also want to know where this V-bar is or how to get to it and use it, etc.
Thanks to anyone who can clue me in.

not sure I understand neither...
hello,
are you on Mac or PC?
If you're on PC the install program should have created a G-Force shortcut folder in your start menu, containing among other thing the V-bar, Standalone and Toolbar.
From the feature you describe you are probably willing to use the V-bar.
Once launched you can right-click on it to change the properties.
If the install program didn't create the shortcut group in the start menu you can access it and/or create a shortcut yourself, it is in C:\Program Files\SoundSpectrum\G-Force if you kept the default install path.
hope you'll figure the rest out ;o)
