3d Acceleration in the future?

i was wondering if there will be 3d acceleration sometime in the future. It would be awesome to do full res without any slowdown.

I still put up with letterboxing because g-force is hands down the best looking visulaizer

You don't need to put up with the letterbox look. You can just adjust the settings in the toolbar (used to have to do it manually in a config file) so that there is no "frame height limit".

my computer can't handel 2560x1600 without letterboxing
