Yah, I found out that G-force is being used in I-tunes..but It must be a watered down version, or an older one. I also learned that I-tunes can actually play G-force, the real G-force you can select it..and its cool to mess with it while playing on the mac one.

Leukoplast wrote:I just downloaded the I-Tunes today so I could listen to the Electronica radio, and I noticed they had a visualization option, so I click it...to my suprise it looks a lot like G-Force. Has G-Force signed with I-tunes? or is it a rip off? Case they look very similar, but I think G-Force is better.

Anybody else notice this?
Yes, when iTunes for Windows first came out I was hooked on the visualizer. I looked through the "about" thing, saw the link to Whitecap, looked it up and then got GForce that way. I don't use iTunes any longer, but just renewed my GeForce Gold thing for another year.

Itunes Visualizer thingy

I quite like the Apple one, but yes, it looks like an older version of GForce. I suspect the comments here about the 3D come from the option checkbox for OpenGL.

I have to say though, as a non programmer and general maths dunce, I thought offloading some of the eye candy to the GPU instead of CPU intensive would have been a Good Thing, but then the best thing about not being the developer is not having to actually make these things work!
