I think it's a driver issue. Are you using Stereo Mix?

If using Stereo Mix...
(Note that the feature is only available on Stereo Mix-enabled sound cards, including Realtek.)

Make sure that the feature is not completely disabled. If it is, right-click on the speaker icon on the system tray, then select "Recording devices". (If Stereo Mix is hidden, right-click anywhere on the list of devices, then select "Show Disabled Devices".) Right-click on "Stereo Mix", then select "Enable". (I'm not quite sure if you're running Windows.)

If it's still not working, it might be incompatible with your operating system.

If using a microphone...
(This applies to both Windows and OS X, whichever you're running.)

Make sure that the mic. is properly connected to the Microphone jack, and that the associated drivers for them are functioning properly. If it's a broken wire, DO NOT use it at all; buy a new microphone online!

I am using Stereo Mix and it is enabled. It was working fine until I updated and I don't know why.

Which operating system are you using? If you updated the sound card drivers and Stereo Mix suddenly stopped working, then it could be caused by third-party drivers. Uninstall them and see if the problem is fixed.

If it still doesn't work, then it might not be compatible with your OS. It is best to roll it back and not update them at all, so you can continue to use the feature.

Hello DanPin

Maybe Gregory is meaning he updated G-Force. If so then the download could be corrupt, if that is the case then he should uninstall G-Force making sure to search, and delete all SoundSpectrum folders relating to G-Force ONLY. Then download a new file. This has happened in the past to other users.

I apologize for the delays in response, Gregory2001. We're entering crunch time on Tunr, and it's been a 24x7 endeavor. I've responded to your support requests, so please reply there.

Thanks for letting me know about this, BTT.

No! He was actually updating the sound card drivers which caused Stereo Mix to stop working; so I don't think the G-Force update was the cause (thus there is no new version yet and it's still in development, latest is v5.4.3).

Gregory, try checking Device Manager to see if there's a problem with it.

Where does he state he was updating drivers? or are you just assuming he did?. Also, he may have been updating GF from an earlier version. Don't just jump to conclusions.

As Frank is dealing with this problem I don't think there is any need to continue any more posts on this subject.
