There is a few flowfields that I love, and I was wondering is there a way to just play them alone?
It would be cool if G-Force could do what the standard windows visualizations do, they give us the option to either select random or to select a specific flowfield. So is there a way to move files within the program to o this?
This is interesting in that the way GF 3 is to be set up, as I understand it, you'll be able to run thru a menu and check on/off the flowfields or other effects you want displayed.
Of course that assumes the unique name of the flow field (or Color Map, etc) conjurs up an image in your mind. The particular mix of the three elements (and the particles and sprites) usually creates a unique disaply that often only works the same when all of those elements are together.

(You could back all those up to another location before deleting in the G-Force folder)
Or, set the slideshow for flowfields to "off"
Ok, what I do is i turn off the flow fields so it will only play the one that is currently on, then I hit Z so it skips to the next one, but it just changes the way the field is, it doesnt change it completly. How do I switch the entire flowfield?
Write yourself a little script that turns off the FlowField slideshow and then tells G-Force to run your preferred FlowField. When you are tired of running that FlowField, just hit the D-key to turn the FlowField slideshow back on.
Take care.
To summarize, there's 2 ways to turn off the flowfield slideshow: D key or command in a script. There's 3 ways to force a specific flowfield: make it the only one in the FlowFields folder, sequence through flowfields with S key or write a script using the SetFlowField command.
