UInt Prefs Help!!: For The Love Of Pete...

Post by JayPro »

Can someone *pretty please* explain to me what the Union Interval formula in the prefs file is supposed to translate to time-wise? This is totally incomprehensible to me.

Sure, it expresses things in terms of seconds...but how many by default??? I'm rather disappointed and surprised by the lack of explanation, either in the Prefs file via //commentary or in the Customization section of the Docs.

What numbers do I need to futz around with in order to chop the interval by, say half or 75 percent? I like it when, from time to time I come across a brief flurry of unions.

For instance, say I'd wait about one minute, then I come across like 3 or 4 unions in unbroken succession. then the screen clears with a new single flowfield, and after another minute the process occurs all over again ad infinitum.

How do I/can I re-craft the current default formula to make it happen more or less in the way I'm describing it?

Bump. I edited the title of my request to hopefully make it easier for folks who can answer this to figure out.

I might have a look at this i teh coming weeks. It is a total pain when trying to write new FF unions and a nice interval is needed.
