How to save set up with toolbar?

Yeah, just payed 30$ for platium and now I can't save my options?

It feels bit stupid to change everything everytime you start app. If I want to use this in "dj live setup" it takes time to to change options and everyting.

So please bring save feature back

SS kept the toolbar for those of us who really weren't into the new GUI. While it does still have 'some' functions its not the same.

personally I would like to the see them scrap new interface and return to the toolbar.

Totally agree with that, I have received many, many mails from users wanting the same (probably hundreds when you think of the users who have simply given up on G-Force. The option to save your selected configs should also be re-introduced. SoundSpectrum can do what they like with Aeon, and to a lesser extent with WhiteCap, since they messed with WhiteCap I no longer use it. Such a shame because G-Force, and WhiteCap still remain the two best programs SoundSpectrum have ever released. I simply do not understand why two such popular programs were changed and, not in a good way.

For a company to have all their products look a certain way can be aesthetically pleasing but reducing the functionality for a seamless look across all platforms is not always a good idea.

Please refer to user jerohm's earlier posts in this thread about this. The feature is not gone, you just access it in a different way.

I'm not speaking for SoundSpectrum, but it is in my opinion much more reliable (and perhaps more intuitive) to do it this way, as the toolbar is often rendered unusable by firewalls and other security software (especially for our newer users). Plus, these custom Themes are still accessible by the toolbar. How do you guys feel about that?

Still I think toolbar save option would be more than great. I think users should have option to save things how they like. So why delete this option and make almost everyone feel bad? I think many people feel the same, so please bring back that feature? Make us user feel happy again

Frank, you are still missing the point. The UI is NOT wanted in G-Force. The Toolbar IS. There is NO easier way to accomplish saving your desired 'themes' than with the toolbar. Honestly don't know how to make SoundSpectrum 'get it'.
The problem some users experience with the Toolbar, and their Firewall are solvable as you know.

PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS - None of us want to post negative posts on the forum, but what other choice do customers have?

Sorry to have to make my first post so negative but I will re-enforce what others might be saying here. With no experience in a previous version, I find the interfaces not-at-all intuitive and, as yet, have not discovered a practical way I will be able to use this product that places the purchased version at greater valuation than the free version.

I purchased it for entertainment purposes and the idea that I'm going to deselect a bunch of boxes (with no apparent "deselect all" as far as I can tell) in a bunch of categories is a non-starter.

The manufacturer needs to remedy this. I would propose that the most immediate solution (the one that will keep me from asking for my money back) would be to re-add the save option described above.

Bring up The UI, hit the color maps icon then hit color map categories then you will see these choices , All, Suggested and custom. Hi the edit button under the custom icon and then a menu with unchecked boxes will appear. pick the ones you want by checking them. Once you have selected the ones you want go back to the one level to color map categories and click the custom icon there you will see your choices and thats what G-force will use until you change it.


Do the same with the scenes, flow fields and particles. You can preview each scene in the active scenes menu by clicking the the icons. Once you've picked the scenes you want go the custom menu and select them and they will be there in the custom theme menu option.

IMHO You should be able to preview the scenes and maps right in the edit section. Going back 2 levels menus to check name you forgot seems a bit counter intuitive. Put the preview buttons right next to the selection box so you can preview it right there and make a choice without having to back and forth between 2 levels of menu to do it..

Great. Now to my question; how do I save them? (Possible corollary question; why, after I do all that, when I open up an audio source underneath all those set options, do they no longer exist when I go back to look at the custom features?

Truth be told even after reading all the instructions I still dont really understand it. guess that makes me a bit stupeed

The original toolbar was so much easier to figure out.
