This relates specifically to using G-Force as a screensaver, it works fine over my two monitors.
Is there a definitive way now in Version 5.1.1. to turn off the G-Force logo and also the Sprite images that start to scroll after a while.
It's just I've been paying for G-Force for years and feel I don't need to see the G-Force logo anymore, I know what the program is called, and I don't like the pictures in the background, that is just personal preference. I suppose I want a purer experience with nothing popping up to interrupt the flow of the generated visuals, the pictures jar somewhat and the logo... well it's annoying. I use my web cam as sound input and G-Force reacts beautifully, now to just stop the pictures and logo.
I used to be able to edit [startup.txt] now in a folder named [Resources] [Common] this does nothing now,
example...
SetSlideShow( CONFIG_SPRITE, false );
and I'd comment out Run
//Run( "logo.txt" );
I've tried all the settings in the Standalone toolbar and they have no effect on the screensaver G-Force application instance.
Any ideas anyone, Thanks

Hello martinrabson
ONLY WORKS ON MY SET UP USING WINAMP. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
For Windows XP go to C / Documents and Settings / Your Name / Application Data / SoundSpectrum / G-Force - you should see a Preferences Screensaver text file.
Add this line: Sprite.Slideshow.EnableOnStartup = 0
So things look like this:
Sprite.ConfigPrepTime = 3
Sprite.Duration = 45
Sprite.Duration.StdDeviation = 0.2
Sprite.ExternalDir.SpriteLimit = 2000
Sprite.Slideshow.EnableOnStartup = 0
Sprite.Slideshow.Interval.Duration = 300
Sprite.Slideshow.Interval.Duration.StdDeviation = 0.1
Sprite.Timescale = 1
Sprite.Transition.Duration = 6
Sprite.Transition.Duration.Quick = 0.9
Sprite.Transition.Duration.StdDeviation = 0.02
Sprite.Transition.Function = "1-(1-t)^1.5"
The G-Force logo is built into the G-Force engine, so can't help you with that.

G-Force logo and pictures (sprite) screensaver turning off
Hi BTT
Thanks for that, I'll try adding that line, I did forget to give OS etc, I'm on a Mac
The Logo by the way is the more simple one during normal operation of the program, not the 'Splash Screen' at start up, to make it clear, I have no problem with that at all.
Even reducing the time it stays up would be something, it seem to drag on somewhat, and it is every 5 minutes which seem excessive, or change the time interval to something less intrusive.
Thanks anyway, loving your colormaps by the way,
Regards, MR
