Hello All
When I start G-Force I can't stop the damn thing - Instructions say Ctrl / Alt / Return, it does not work. Also at start I am getting text in the top left corner telling me certain WaveShapes are not able to run as they do not have sufficient Meta values, well, they have always loaded alright before. That's just after five minuets - will run G-Force longer when I next feel brave.

Been testing this the last 2 days launched from winamp. No issues so far or errors of any kind. Running Windows 7 x64. Really nice new scenes been loving it. Thanks again for the great product.
Works fine here so does the toolbar. Maybe do a clean install removing the old one first if you haven't already tried that.jerohm wrote:unless I am very confused, STILL no GF/64 Toolbar (no big deal) and MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY GF/32 Toolbar Particle control has a mapping issue with random initiation of subset (via button):?

( WinAmp PlugIn is GF/32 )
I ALWAYS uninstall prior to a new install. Open up the toolbar Particle enable list and DISABLE ALL but 3, and REMEMBER which ones you left enabled. Hit the "Start a new randomly selected Particle" button. You are telling me that 1 of the only 3 ENABLED Particles ACTUALLY start for YOU?!

Ya that actually works. Under windows 7 X64 / Winamp. Not surprised you did a clean install just thought I'd mention it. BTW I have never done a clean install except for the last beta when the tool bar wouldn't work for me but turns out whatever the problem was got fixed in this release, At least in my case anyway. Not that it probably makes much difference but I got it running on a second monitor and the toolbar open on my desktop while Gforce runs full screen on my 70in LED screen.jerohm wrote:[ WinAmp or GF/32 Standalone (4.4) Win7/64 ]DireWolf wrote:...Works fine here so does the toolbar. Any 1 of 3 unique Particles will initiate, JUST THE WRONG ONES.
Hope your issues are resolved soon.

well NOW I am totally baffled... I too am running win7/64. Both the GF/32 AND GF/64 bit standalone versions WILL run on Win7/64... and the WinAmp PlugIn is 32/bit only (to the best of MY knowledge) The standalone GF/32 and WinAmp have exactly the same issue with Particle mapping w/ the toolbar (WS work perfectly). GF/64 will startup the toolbar, but it never loads (i.e., no table entries). I do install my OWN Configs on top of distribution... SOMEBODY else chime in PLEASE... Am I really the only one with this ISSUE????

... I have an old XPro/32 that I can try... will update w/ my results
Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller?

GF/32 4.4 (Uninstall and virgin 4.4 install)
If you enable only a subset of the Particle List, and initiate "Start a new randomly selected Particle" with either the toolbar button or Lowercase('Y') command, the WRONG Particles start. For EXAMPLE, disable ALL Particles EXCEPT for 'Lizy's Starry Night' and 'Four Eighths'. When I initiate a randomly selected Particle, I get either 'Spinners II' or 'Waves'. PLEASE confirm whether you get the same results...
jrm
ALSO: GF/64 will start the Toolbar, but never loads its screens... not really an issue, but I would like to know if this is a problem for others too... JUST because you run Win7/64 DOES NOT necessarily mean you are running GF/64!!! >> Verify in the GF Startup splash <<
Thanks a million...
I'm with you BTT. I have commercial license installed across network and took along time fine tuning and setting up. A lot of scripts written. Without toolbar i do not think i will be upgrading beyond here. May try over the weekend on a remote system to see what is up in it and test. Be a shame though have had commercial for 5 years now. And have been with Andy's G-Force since version 2 came out.
Unfortunately, no one on the forums has bothered to confirm my senerio. I generated a support ticket... nothing back there eitherBTT wrote: ...Just wondering if the problem you are experiencing with the Particle List has been resolved yet?. ..

I remain on 4.3 and kinda assume that is the end of the line... for me anyway...
Thanks for asking anyway...

Hello jerohm
I am disappointed that you have received no help from any forum members, especially as you have helped out so many others over the years. COME ON GUY'S.
You say SoundSpectrum have not replied to your support ticket, it was my understanding that SoundSpectrum had resolved the issues with their support department a while ago. If you post the support ticket number I will contact SoundSpectrum on you behalf.

Ticket #54923 ... It would also be A GREAT IMPROVEMENT if the original text would be contained in the auto-generated ticket number reply...

and more importantly PLEASE ADDRESS at earliest convenience. I can't enjoy 4.4 until this issue is resolved."
I am stuck on 4.3 (no real complaints) until such issues get resolved.
