SoundSpectrum - Contact / Support / Updates Notice

Post by BTT »

Hello All

Official Statement From SoundSpectrum

CONTACT AND SUPPORT

Our contact page and ticket system have been targeted by a spammer over the last couple of weeks and we have been flooded with spam tickets, hundreds a day. This has made it very difficult to parse through and find and respond to actual customer tickets, though we're doing our best to rectify the situation. If people are complaining in the forums about a lack of response from us I would really appreciate if you could pass this information on. To be clear, we are only being drowned in fake support tickets (much like how a denial of service attack works). No personal customer information has been accessed, no security has been breached.

UPDATES

We should have new beta releases available within the next few weeks for all of our titles.

Regards BTT

I've been waiting about 2 weeks now to receive G-Force... Never made any purchase online that has turned out like this! !st time ever I have paid for something and, after 2 weeks, not even acknowledgement for purchasing...I'm about to GIVE UP on this...

Ya know - I'm a technical service rep and I know if you blow off customers, by word of mouth, you WILL destroy your business. In my line of work as a technical service provider I CANNOT stand and make excuses to customers or promise delivery and not deliver. I am trying to be patient (what I'm waiting for I have no clue) but I've gone through and read EULA, Privacy and charter of what to expect with SOUNDSPECTRUM and now know none of the support is worth even trying to fill out and waste my time with! Guess I'll end up escorted out of this forum before I even receive my purchase...what a very sad expectation of what I thought was a good product and service!!!

Hello cajunalleycat

All of us who post on the forum on a regular basis are strong supporters of G-Force, it is a great program. However, for some reason that we are unaware of the SoundSpectrum support has let us all down. Some of us are sending emails to the company pleading for a response. If you can stay with us while the situation is being resolved I am sure that you too will love G-Force.

No-one will be escorting you out of the forum for the content of your three posts.

Thank you BTT for responding...it's more than I've had from SoundSpectrum. It's a shame there is no phone number (I put mine in one of my messages to sales over a week ago) or some other work around to keep business going as usual...

For The Record

Post by JayPro »

I did receive a personal and sincerely apologetic e-mail from Gary Gluck informing me that my orders for the license renewal and updated products were accepted...and that he personally rescinded all the charges to my card.

Only problem now is that I'll hafta send a support ticket to *someone* as to why both the Aeon beta *and* current release versions' .dmg files refuse to mount no matter what I do.

Apropros of *this* thread*, I'm afraid of DL'ing the files for GF and the other apps for the same reason.

Myriad and major thanks to mc2 for trying to reassure us of a response we should all expect to be forthcoming (in both contexts, i.e. imminent and candid).

Hello JayPro

If I were in your situation, I think I would wait until Andy has made a post. Just my opinion.
