Color for borders?

I've had the Gold version of G-Force for about a month. When I first switched over to the Gold version, I was surprised that the borders (I run iTunes-Medium sized screen has a border that had always been black) were in color AND that the color changed along with the change in the visualizer. My first thought was that it was distracting, but after a while I really enjoyed the changes and thought it really enhanced the overall visualization. Sometimes the borders were bright colors sometimes dark. Anyway, the colored borders only lasted two days or so. They are now always black. Why did this happen? Is there a way to get the colored borders back? Has anyone else seen this?
