I will be glad for the next new update!

Post by ZaphodBeeblebrox »

First of all, I would like to say that I like this G-Force SoundSpectrum, but as I am new to this, I have found a bug in this version 4.2... In which it will close my PC down after using the G-Force Standalone or even the Screen Saver and also in on after using it in Windows Media Player!

In which it sends my PC to shut down to Log off mode, as to switch over for another User; in which in my case I am the only user on my PC!

I am on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and my sound card/Asus Xonar D2.

Plus I have noticed that it does not from the G-Force Standalone Player, it does not recognise the in's and outs of the audio from my sound card correctly?

So for me, who has just come in on using G-Force Platinum 4.2... This is a nice start for anyone who like BUGS and bunnies in what you have just paid for?

So I hope it will be not long for the next new update to put this issue right, as I would like to enjoy it... Instead of it shutting my PC down in every time I use G-Force to Log-off mode!

I have already done that man... and I received a reply from Paul Brower
SoundSpectrum, Inc. - "We are aware of the issue you describe and hope to address it within a coming update".

But the question here is how long do we have to wait for the next upcoming update from them?

Could it be two weeks? - Or a month... Or sow on?

It would be nice to know if we do get any support from what we pay for :!:

Paul would be the only one to have the latest information, there are many waiting for an update. I wish I could help you more but, I'm no better informed than anyone else. Maybe another complaint would help!!!

I last contacted them on the 7/09/2011; which was on Wednesday and I know that it takes normally for them to respond within the next (typically within 1-2 business days)... But I resume that Paul Brower, has no further news when the next update will be likely to be available!

So for me at the moment I am stuck with this bug version of 4.2; with no joy at all, in which I purchased G-Force Platinum on 4/09/201. In which it is not worth using at all?

Is there any previous version of this, without that stupid bug in that I can get hold of, where I can get a good feel of this and find how really good it is! - So I would be very grateful to you if you can give me a link for a better version of G-Force Platinum

Hello ZaphodBeeblebrox

I would give Paul Brower a few days to get back to you. I know that SoundSpectrum are working really hard on this issue and, that there have been set backs but, I believe they are close to resolving the problems you are experiencing.

To my knowledge there is no way of obtaining previous versions of G-Force, however, having used G-Force myself for more than ten years I can assure you that it's well worth the wait for the update. It truly is a mind blowing experience. I realise how frustrating this must be for you but, please hang in there.

I will contact Paul on your behalf and, draw his attention to this thread.

Thanks for your kind consideration involving this issue for me! At the moment I have uninstalled G-Force Platinum 4.2; because it keeps on shutting down to Log-off mode after every five minutes, which coincides with the Screen Savers setting for the Screen Saver to start up!

Even when you only have the Windows 7 normal Screen Saver Ribbons on, it seems to conflict within settings for any Screen Savers that you may have?

So for me I don't have any mind blowing experience of it, until I get the next new update! Which one only can pray for with no more bugs in?

So until then, I will just sit and wait for this mind blowing experience... You say about :!:

Regards ZaphodBeeblebrox :(

Hello ZaphodBeeblebrox

Just a thought, have you considered disabling your Screen Saver in the short term?.
