G-Force shutting down

Post by dispatcher1977 »

Hello,

My G-Force was working fine for several years until this morning. When running WMP, switching from "library" to "now playing", WMP suddenly shuts down. I have received the following error message:

G-Force Toolbar Message
the toolbar's connection to "Windows Media Player (Running on dell-p6190hkrsg)" was refused.

Firewalls and network security software can interfere with the toolbar's ability to establish a connection to G-Force. If you are trying to connect to G-Force over a network, ensure that the remote instance of G-Force is set to allow remote connections (for security reasons, G-Force refuses remote connections by default).

I have tried ALL troubleshooting. I use G-Force upwards of 24 hours a day, and am absolutely devastated that I can no longer use this application. I do not use any other media player, and am hoping someone out there has a solution.

Please help!!!

Hello dispatcher1977

May I suggest you click on the link below which will put you in direct contact with SoundSpectrum (it is unusual for them to be active on the forum). Fill in your details and they will contact you direct usually within 48 hours (but allow for the weekend)

Thanks, BTT.

I've already created a ticket for this issue today, but am in my second month of waiting on a previous ticket! Was hoping my peers might have a solution before I hear back from SS.

Thanks always,

Resolved

Post by dispatcher1977 »

Thanks all,

This issue has been resolved. It seems to have started when I unchecked all boxes for Waveshapes and Flowfields.
I've since stopped doing this, and have no longer had this issue upon uninstalling and reinstalling.

Thanks again!
