Possible? Maybe. But you would probably be violating the End User License Agreement.

It is in the same folder as "Soundspectrum".

I do not know for sure if the creators are the mods here, but maybe one of them can tell you for sure. It's low priced enough to just buy another license.

My 2 cents.

I agree it is the best $10 I've ever spent on software. Not sure that I would want to spend $10 on my other computer though. It's made from old parts laying around the house. I just have it hooked up to my TV so I can surf the web on the tele.

well this is written in the EUA

You may not make or distribute copies of the Software, or electronically transfer the Software in any manner from one computer or device to another or over a network.

But i am sure if its purely for 2 machines in the same house owned by the same person then it still comes under the single user license ?

I suppose Gary or Key are the people to really answer that question

either that or a damn fine lawyer who knows how to decode EUA documents into plain english hehehe
I'll come to bed once i've seen everything in G-Force.

I would *definitely* shoot an e-mail to Key, i.e. key@soundspectrum.com. He's the man to talk to.

I believe Gary's bailiwick is more towards outside licensing, i.e. to third parties. I *think*.

Sent an E-Mail to Key, Here's the reply:

Our license agreement is for personal use and provided that both computers are yours, we are happy to provide you with permission to use the same license code on both home computers. Many thanks for writing to us and asking.

Enjoy G-Force Gold and please tell your friends about us!

Regards,

Key Compton

Is he a great guy or what?? I might put it on my laptop, but since it has a Celeron processor on it, it might not work too well. :D

It does seem to take alot of CPU oomph to run G-Force. It uses about 55 to 75 on my AMD 2.1ghz

Hi Smoggy... Great logo!
G-Force does take lots of CPU time. I'm running it on a 2.2 GHtz P4 with 512 MBytes of memory, and running a 600x800 pixel window takes up about 75-95% of CPU time. This is why everyone keeps bugging Andy about the new, supposedly 'just around the corner', much more efficient engine... come on, Andy!
Take care.

I really don't understand why people are bothered with visualszation taking up CPU time. Do you complain when a game, ect uses max CPU time. That is what the CPU is there for to be used.:/

Hi Rovastar,
Some of us are not specifically complaining, but are answering other people's queries... even though some of us do have reason to wish CPU usage was more efficient. It sounds like you run G-Force when that's all you want to do. I, on the other hand, run G-Force 10-12-14 hours a day, while doing other things, and I love having that GF image up in the corner of my screen, swirling away at all times, and I resent having to shut it down when running complex MS Access database queries, or running large Excel spreadsheets, or running my application specific petrophysical software. I am selfish and want G-Force running all the time, not just when I am doing easy stuff. That's why I am looking forward to Andy's new engine.
Take care.
