How do I generate a fresh (or "factory") preferenc

Post by RiderFan »

I have been fooling around with all the settings and I am afraid that I may have messed things up. I would like to revert to factory defaults but I am having trouble.

This is what I read in the documentation:

"To create a fresh "factory" preferences file, first ensure G-Force is not running (in some media players, you must exit the media player to cause G-Force to exit). Next, find the folder named "G-Force" in your user folder and delete the appropriate preferences file located inside it (if can't find this folder, try using the OS to search for "G-Force" inside your user folder). The next time G-Force starts up, it won't find its preferences file and will generate a new one containing the default (or "factory") settings."

Well, I have the folder but I am unable to find anything that looks like a preference file. This doc just tells me where to look, but not the name of the file that I am looking for.

Anybody know exactly what I should be deleting?

As a user of OS X, what I do is perform a generic G-Force Search and look for Preferences in the Parent column. Then I open up the folder and simply delete whichever I choose.
I'm not sure where they'd be in the PC environs.
"God is syntax."
