This is either a suggestion for the next release or a question about how to do so... Basically, is there a way to automatically save certain combinations of effects? I know you can specify and create certain themes in the toolbar, but is there a way to instantly store configs, like there is in whitecap? B/c i'd really like to be able to just hit a button while i'm listening to music and be able to come back to the same visualization later...
Thanks in advance

I know of NO WAY of currently doing that ...
but as an extension on your proposed concept, how about a script generator that records the goings on during an entire G-Force session, that could be replayed and/or later hand-tuned, if desired. Even though scripting has been IMPLEMENTED, it remains rather elusive to mere mortals, and under utilized.

Sorry this isn't well documented, but to store the current GF configs as a script, press CTRL+SHIFT+X (where X is whatever). When you press CTRL+X at a later time, the corresponding script is run and you'll see the GF configs reappear.
Note that if you're on Windows, UAC must be disabled (this is addressed in GF 4).
I'm also adding a FAQ item for this in the next release.

Ok, thats great to know. Looking back through the forums and the topics about scripting I understand that now. Thanks for answering my question.
BTW Andy, just wanted to say you've done a great job on everything so far. I've had a bunch of ppl comment on how cool they thought gforce/whitecap were when they saw them in itunes.
