Slow in Standalone

Post by andyr2005 »

Hi,

Just thought I would ask this here.

I ahve noticed that while running in Standalone mode, G-Force seems to lag behind music or input by a second or two.

But when running inside WMP it is fine.

Any way to fix this?

I am running on Windows Vista Home Premium 64, Intel C2Q Q6600, 4Gig RAM, X-FI Fatal1ty, 2x Geforce 8800's 512MB each in SLI.

Thanks, Andrew.

Runing G-Force 3.8.1.

Hi,

Use Creative MediaSource 5, if thats any help.

I have set the Standalone client to use the audio from 'What u Hear'. Also, have this set as the default in the Audio Console thing in Vista.

Gee, where were you a few weeks ago when I was asking if anyone else here also used mediasource 5 ?

I have a creative X-Fi platinum card and GF SA is in perfect sync with mediasource 5.

have you tried the wav setting? also check to see if you have mediasource set to digital output. open tools and hit settings there you will see an options fro use system default or digital output. try each setting and see if there is a difference.
