Did I just waste my money?

Post by Doomah »

I decided to buy myself an early Christmas present so I got a copy of G-force platinum. Since I don't have an internet connection at home I bought it at the local net cafe and burned it to disc, I brought it home and installed it. Everything went fine until i actually tried to run the program and nothing happened at all. I opened the tool bar and there are no settings, I tried to run it with winamp and it didn't work. I tried the stand alone and nothing loaded. Am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not 100% sure but I think in order for the toolbar to work it needs to access the internet.

I hope this still isnt the case but in the past the toolbar would not light up unless it phoned home.

contact support and tell them what happend and see what they say.

And if this is the case, can you please update your system requirements and add that you MUST have an internet connection? Thanks

do you know which version you have ?

if you have an older version this problem may have been fixed in a newer build.

Big Big Suggestion....

I run GF Standalone on my Mac. Internet connections or lack thereof have nothing to do with the issue at hand, I would suggest.

The Toolbar will not run unless/until the standalone is launched first . Otherwise the standalone will keep searching for G-Force and not find anything.

Give this a try and see if it works for you.
