Gforce on macos x output problems

Righto then, having some ball-aching problems with NTSC/PAL configurations...

I'm trying to get a macbook pro running gforce into a korg kross-4 mixer with resolume as the 2nd input

When everything is set to I/PAL output (HP 2nd monitor/MBpro DVI -> svideo out/K4 switch) like it should be for the UK I can crossfade between the 2 inputs - the resolume fullscreen looks fine and the gforce standalone window looks fine when dragged across to the 2nd monitor (but this isnt fullscreen yet) Now when I double click in the gforce window to make it fullscreen all of a sudden it becomes garbled B/W with a thick blank band at the bottom which indicates to me that its switching to an NTSC signal...

When I change all the settings to NTSC (DVi on MBpro, NVidia on HP and switch on K4) everythings fine, which is great - but I'm in the UK, and when working gigs where I dont get to setup everything I cant guarantee access/control to the projectors in order to have them looking for an NTSC signal it'll be a nightmare. Also, when working with other VJs it completely messes everything up. Even when I setup the MBpro to mirror the main display it still garbles it through the mixer, but remains fine on this screen.

Something else to note, when I'm getting the garbled signals from the OUTPUT on the K4 I can switch the monitor signal to an individual input and it will look fine - but is completely messed up on output. I sent this mixer back to korg not long ago because I thought this was an internal fuckup, but they said there was nothing wrong with it at all.

I've tried as many combinations of outputs/input signals and settings as I can think of, I tried to trick it by setting the 2nd monitor of the MBpro to NTSC hoping when it went to fullscreen it would switch it round the other way but this just gives me the same garbled output...but as I said, I can view this on the monitor out just fine.

Any ideas would be much appreciated as this is starting to do my nut in...its one of those things where I'm sure its some stupid setting I've got wrong, or the K4 is completely broken and korg lied to me.

Also - is there any news on the screen not having to be blacked out when gforce is at fullscreen on macos x? Is this anything to do with openGL?
