Hi,
I've just installed G-Force Platinum on a G5 Intel iMac running OS 10.4.10 and am trying to use it with iTunes 7.3.1.
iTunes will run G-Force, but only while blacking out the screen around a small display square in which the visualizations run. I've been told I can change this in the toolbar but the toolbar can't seem to find G-Force at all.
I was also told this was a firewall issue and that I had to make G-force an exeption to the firewall - I couldn't find how to do this so I just turned the firewall off completely.
This didn't help. The toolbar just sits at ' Searching for G-Force...'. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks for your help.
Toolbar cannot find g-force on iMac G5

Well, after much effort, I got the toolbar to find G-Force and can now change settings from it.
But...
I still can't get G-Force to go properly fullscreen. It will not fill up the screen.
When G-Force runs, it runs as a rectangular display the same shape as my screen but only about half the size. It is in the centre of the screen and the rest of the area is black. If it is run inside a window instead of fullscreen it still doesn't fill up the window - it is a small central rectangle with black to the edges of the window.
It is not 'letterbox' display, there are large black areas on the sides as well as top and bottom.
I have tried every combination of options in the frame size area of the toolbar and have also tried changing the max X and max Y setting inside the itunes preferences file.
