Are G-Force and Aeon compatible with the new MAC Operating System (Catalina)?

Any plans to make them work with the new OS?

Thanks

Hi BTT,

How are you doing? I hope everything is going well for you.

I'm still "vertical" and doing OK.

Many thanks again for asking them about the new MAC OS.

What happened to SS???

There hasn't been an update for more than a year now.

Is there going to be one anytime soon?

The Saga Continues... Issues with Catalina

Thanks for writing in to us about this. As we may have mentioned previously, both APPL and MSFT have been getting very aggressive with their updates, often breaking many peripheral applications and plugins (such as our media player visualizers and screensavers) in the process. We are making every effort to assess and fix the recent bugs with Catalina, and we hope to have an update available within a few weeks time if possible. Based on current trends, it’s entirely feasible that some of the recent issues may have to come from Apple directly.

The good news is the Standalone application should still work. Though it may be slightly less convenient, it will allow you the greatest flexibility visualizing various audio sources, and is not tied to a specific media player or screensaver process. For more information on our Standalone application, please see the following page:

We also have a beta list that you can sign up for if you want early access to the untested version once it's available.
