First, I read somewhere that there are new Colormaps that (I think ) BTT made that I would like to have a download link to and try out, please.
Second:
I just got done submitting an error report to Andy and his team for help with the error message I received lately (ID=55040) after installing and trying to implement the screensaver under Windows 7 x64 SP1. Seems that Windows 7 x64 attached the Aeon x64 standalone executable to the Aeon.scr file loaded under the Windows directory. The Aeon installation program installed itself under the Program Files(x86) directory, like I knew it would. My computer specifications, although I do not think it is my computer specifications, can be found here:
I reinstalled the previous version of Aeon version 2.0.1 Build 4141 and all is well for now, now that I rolled back to the older version. The newest version, as you know is version 3.2 Build 4848. What is causing the loading issue? My Graphics card drivers are all up to date. Has anyone else had this issue?
G-Force colormaps are indeed compatible with those of Aeon. I think this explains why Andy (or someone else whose bailiwick it is) re-issued so many colormaps in .png format. Just the same, many palettes in my Aeon copy are in .map format, including BTT's 242.

So can you or maybe even BTT explain how we can get his 242 colormaps from a g-force png colormap format into Aeon as a .map format, with directions on which folder to place these in for correct functionality?
Some clarity on this would be appreciated, maybe a quick 1, 2, 3 guide.
Fact is, I've always wondered how and if the 242 G-force picture colormaps from BTT could be added, converted and configured to work with AEON.
In my application, I have both file types in my colormaps folder, and in fact have discovered duplicate palettes in both formats. The point is that both should work equally well and file conversion (.png to .map) is not necessary. As for conversion from one format to the other, AIUI this is impossible because .png is an image file and .map is text.
Palettes in .map file should work easily in Aeon because every other scene/scene component file is in .txt format; and .map files are of the exact same kind.

Upon receipt of the Zip file, unzip and if you are using Aeon just open the SoundSpectrum Folder / Aeon / ColorMaps and simply paste them into the folder, hope you enjoy them.

Hello Spirit Wolfe
You have followed the correct procedure, however for the past few weeks there has been a problem with users not receiving replies from SoundSpectrum. Should you not have received a reply in seven working days after creating a support ticket, post again and I will do my best to help you.
P.S, QLD is flooded and still flooding and now Sydney and New South Wales are copping the ex-tropical cyclone too. At least 6 associated tornadoes or sea twisters, nasty. I'm in South Australia so we are not at flood or fire risk, unlike Victoria.
I must be blind because I followed your link and I could not find that ZIP file!
Could you please repost the ZIP here or S.P.E.L.L. the link out for me to find it? Thanks! I looked all over that page for a download link to a ZIP file and I will be damned if I found it!! ROTFLMAO!

My ColorMaps do indeed work in both G-Force and Aeon. There have been some of my creations in Aeon from when it was first released.

Regards BTT
I will retry that reinstall again for the AEON v3.2 for my screensaver running in x64 mode... But I think it is going to do exactly as it did before....

Hi Wolfe
ICBW but I think BTT emailed the zip file to those who posted their request in the that thread.
try aposting your request there and see what happens
So, what you are saying is that you create new images for AEON and G-Force, as well? Nice. Is it easy enough? I am not a programmer, by any means and I was always intrigued on how this was accomplished.

Hello JayPro
You were close, all my ColorMaps are created in .map format then I convert them to .PNG format, however I cannot convert .PNG format to .map format.
Regards BTT
I was wondering if you could e-mail me a complete copy of your .png and .map files that you generously gave to our humble community. I would contribute to them if I understood the process more ... but again I am no programmer.
Make a post requesting the 242 ColorMaps in that thread, and I will send them to you by email. Do not post your email address because as admin I have access to that. The ColorMaps are all in .PNG format.
