Unable to disable - Settings - Track Text Duration

With both Winamp and Windows Media Player, I am unable to make the setting stay permanent for TracK Text Duration.
When I set it to (Off) and set, it changes back to 5 seconds as soon as I go back to the Settings menu.
Can I set it to OFF so I don't see ANY text appear on my screen?
