Prefer G-Force for now

I've been a G-Force subscriber for years now - totally love it! Aeon is nice, I got the premium package and have run it for several days now. Its a nice change up from G-Force, but not quite up to G-Force IMHO. I trust that the developers will make it better in the future however.
Anyone else underwhelmed?

Well, to be fair, any music vis product that's just had its initial public release is bound to disappoint in some way, especially in the minds of those who justifiably expect mind-blowing material.
For its first dry run, Aeon has been IMO nothing short of spectacular. The first battery of additions, editions, fixes and improvements are bound to impress.

Well said, JayPro. The reality is, it's very tough for any new product to compete with G-Force, which has been out for 10 (!) years now. That's 10 years worth of steady improvements and lots of new content, both by SoundSpectrum and many contributors. Hopefully Aeon can eventually spur a community much like G-Force initially did because a single scene is capable of being a G-Force or a WhiteCap, if a creative enough effort is put in. The sky is the limit with this one and that's why a lot of thought has been put into opening up this ability with
thorough engine documentation, which is only the beginning.
Secondly, people have completely different tastes. That's why car companies have comprehensive model lineups--shoppers are pretty fragmented when you consider the segment desiring a two-seat roadster vs. a sedan. If it's impossible to create one car for everyone, creating a visualizer for everyone is even tougher

If there is one product that has the most potential to achieve this, it's Aeon, because it can have practically infinite variability through its different scenes, as opposed to the much more "distinct look" of any other visualizer. Each scene is really a whole separate visualizer, being as "shallow" or as "deep" as its author desires.

G-Force is King, but for how long???
I hope it doesn't take 10 years for Aeon to mature. It only took me 3 minutes of viewing the free demo to make the decision to buy. I'm actually surprised Aeon is as good as it is for a first release. This has POTENTIAL and Im excited!
Nice one Soundspectrum!!!

Thanks for your feedback, compliments and criticisms alike! I'm glad the potential for Aeon shows, and we are working towards that. Each scene is conceptually a visualizer in itself, and I'm excited to see what new visual concepts are realized by us and other content developers in the future!
We will continue to develop content for Aeon, and have some interesting ideas for future releases that will encourage and support a wide variety of content and styles!

Thanks Mike. Happy Holidays to Alll!!!
Thanks for the update to Aeon ver. 102!
Funny, a message popped up about an update, but the name wasn't AEON.
Was there a prototype name for Aeon? Wish I could remember what it came up as....
Keep up the good work!
